General Rules
- Members are free to sing any song from Taranaa library.
- Members cannot submit songs previously sung by them on Taranaa.
- 1st Week ( June 25 - July 8 ) : Separate categories for Male and Female Solo Entries.
- 2nd Week ( July 9 - July 25 ) : Top 6 singers ( 3 Male + 3 Female ) from 1st week will all be paired to do duets ( 9 pairs - 9 duets ) of their choice.
- Other members are encouraged to submit their duet entries if they wish so but for the Duet round, ONLY 9 entries from Top stars will be considered for voting.
- Top pair will be crowned as Taranaa Idols ( Best Male and Female singer ).

Awards
- Some members have graciously pledged $$$ for cash awards
- Additionally Taranaa will pool in $1 per participant.... so the more, the merrier :)
- We welcome additional sponsors

Song Submissions & Deadlines
- The deadlines are FINAL and no exceptions allowed. Please mark your calendars !
- Members are urged to start preparing for the contest ASAP to be able to submit their entries in time for better voting chances.
- Not to miss out on voting on your favorite entry which was submitted late, members are urged to wait for all the entries to be submitted before casting their votes.
- Contest page will be created and displayed on Monday June 25th, for members to post their entries.

- Duets - Wednesday July 25, 6 pm EDT

- First Solo Round - Saturday July 07, 6 pm EDT
- Final Duet Round - Thursday July 26, 6 pm EDT
Results will be announced and winners notified soon after the Voting is closed. Please check back forums/emails for the announcements.

Voting
- Please submit your votes to info@taranaa.com
- In the spirit of sportsmanship, YOU CANNOT VOTE FOR YOURSELF.
- Please include Subject - Taranaa Idols Contest 2007, Singer and Song Name in the email.
- Include your Top 3 choices for Male and Female singers (EACH) for Solos and Top 3 Pairs for Duets in descending order.
- Each position carries points : 1st = 5 points, 2nd = 3 points, 3rd = 2 points.
- NO negative feedback is allowed in the forum which can swing people's mind during the voting period.
